Default Folsom and the weedeater

Just curious as to ya'll's opinions on this behavior he's displaying.

Anytime I am weedeating near Angel or Cheyenne (the females) Folsom goes apeshit.. growling and barking.. he gets seriously pissed.. Is he trying to protect "his" females or what? If I go out there without the weedeater and mess around them, he's fine.. but break that weedeater out and he goes nuts.

maybe it's the noise that the weedeater is making?

I'm sure it is the noise.. I am more curious about why its only when I am around the females. I can weedeat anywhere else.. near him, around the house.. and he's fine.. get near the females and he wants to kill the weedeater.

Lawmowers, weedeaters and similiar machinery I believe have a specific frequency sound that can serve as a trigger/stimuli to his prey drive. To him it might sound like there is a helluva fight on the go "inside there somewhere" and he would want in on the action - when this sound is around the females his prey drive/male instincts would intensify. We humans would hear a weedeater, his ears might decipher a battle......

Just a thought shared............

When we had all of the dogs here...it was bad mowing and weedeating and using the blower as well....Oh man..it is wanst bad..it was HORRIBLE...
I sometimes think that becuse we had a couple of shit starters...(as in barking) they would do bark and show teeth to no end....except when you were at their circle....
Now that we only have 2...and they were NOT the shit starters....LMAO..we can do anything in our yard we want to and they dont mina a bit, but they woudl join in on the barking and growling and wanting to kill the machines when the other dogs were here....
Sometime I think that I thought it was more of a game they played....and sometimes I thought certain ones were just jealous...LOL...because we have a male and female, they would participate in the meaningless aggressiveness towards to the machines..but now they dont care.....
who knows, maybe he is like ours was!
Or it could be a protective thing...who knows....
Dogs, and even this breed have more feelings that people give credit for.
When Miss Prance was gone a week, Tabiouls was absolutely miserable. I mean, that boy would would stare at her circle and chain, and whine....then whine bark then mope around, then sit and stare again...then whine some more....It was funny, but at the same time it was sad...LMAO! As soon as she came home he was so damn happy....LMAO...God forbid you let them loose.....
