Default i LOVE rufus...

today we went to the feed store to get some omas pride as i am out of food.. the place was packed with people, from old to young. as we were waiting in line to pay for our food a little girl came up to him, hugged him, then pulled his tail then she hugged him again.. then pulled on his tail again.. by this time i am quite annoyed, and the parents are no where in sight... so i ask her to stop.. she does.. waits a few moments, then does it again..now the parents show up. a man standing behind me asked what kind of dog rufus was, so i said pitbull mix. he said he was pleasantly surprised at how well he tolerated the brat pulling on his tail and hugging him, to which i replied he is a therapy dog, and loves kids so he is fine with that.(which he is as some of the kids at school play with his tail) he said it was nice to see a nice pitbull rather then the mean ones on tv... the parents were nice enough to apologize to me for their daughters behavior, and i nicely told them she is lucky my dog is good with kids or she probably would have had her face torn off by another dog that didnt tolerate kids pulling on their tails.. (i know if i had jesse with me the kid would have been bitten the first tail pull).

LOL did you really say that ME?

I hope those parents understand how dangerous that situation could have been for their unattended kid. Rufus is a rock star!

of course i did.. they were STUPID idiots, they let a 3 year old run around unattended in a feed store that had other dogs in there, and i actually could have taken that girl and walked out the door to never return.. how stupid can some people be.. i figured if i scared the crap out of them they would watch their kid more carefully around dogs..

Argo had a 4 yr old playing name that feature on her, he would say eye and try to poke her eye, then nose and grabbed her nose, then ear and grabbed her ear, all the while the mom is asking me about a dog food container, while I had her in a down stay. I had to finally stop him, she was looking at me like "what is with the kid, can I just pin him and lick him to death?" and I told Argo how good she was, and told the mom she should watch it, Argo is good but don't let him go up to dogs unless she ask first if it's okay.
