| LOl Welcome to the wonderful world of owning a drivy dog LOL If you are showing ADBA don't worry about it so much. If you are showing in UKC and she is a pup the judges are also pretty good LOL I'm exhasted after being in the ring with Bodacious and or Samurai LOL who Both think the world revolves around them and thinks the judge is there for their personal amusement |

| Have you tried exercising or just any physical activities before starting your obedience sessions? __________________ Got Cats? Slink on over to our Feline Forum! Game-Dog.com ~ Preserving The APBT Interested in the Molosser breeds? Check out our Mastiff Forum! |

| I honestly don't train much for going in the show ring, but for regular training the same applies so here goes I agree get her tired first before training sessions. A tired dog is a better behaved one. Of course I own Energizer Bunny Pit Bulls LOL so I run and play hard with them if I want them to really be calm to focus teach her that a once you put her show collar on it is time to work only use the show collar and lead for training and shows so she learns the difference same would go for weight pull equip and obedience leads and collars. The dog will learn what different things are for Do reallllllly short training sessions 5-10 minutes at a time a few times a day you can use food to help train but not in the ADBA ring and not always in UKC either but you can always fake the dog out that you have something once they are trained and or wean them off food as the sessions progress. How old is the dog? I ask because if this is an older dog and more stubborn you may need to do some corrections as well but go the positive approach first it makes life easier and helps the dog enjoy showing |

| She's only 9 months old, but she's just ide open all the time. I've never seen her just lay down and chill out..lol.. just 100% go all the time. If she's on her chain she constantly paces abck and forth at the end of the chain.. in the pen she paces back and forth along the front wall of it by the gate. I've done some weight pulling training with her and she loves it... just can't get her to be still for very long at one time. __________________ ~DEAD GAME~ The fighter is to be always single-minded with one object in view: to fight, looking neither backward nor sideways. | On another note there are calming herbs and scents you may want to look into. Sounds like she stresses easily as well as really running her before you train. Also sounds like regular obedience would be a huge help to you My girls are also 9 months |
