Default Pet Cloning...Would You?

Personally, this freaks me out and I really don't think I would consider cloning a pet even if the finances and the means to do it were available, but I was wondering how many of you would? And under what circumstances would you consider it...would you do it just to replace a pet that you loved?

No animal will EVER replace my special animals like Noodle or Brogan. Even if they were cloned, they wouldn't be the same---no way. I don't think I would go through the process.

$1500. Wow. Can you imagine what might happen if they lost power for extended periods of time?

So much for that, I'm saving my money for Cyrogenesis.

No, and all our dogs will always be rescued, each is unique and individual so how could a cloned animal replace it??

No. It would be creepy having another Loki still walking around my house after she was already dead and buried. Gives me the shivers just thinking about it.

don't think i would....
while, in so many respects i miss those that have passed, they've passed for a reason...
you can clone it, but imo, it'll (they) will still never be the same....
and yeah, seems a lil freaky to me....

I agree. Here's a bit of irony, though. We used to have a "Things to do today" dry-erase board on my fridge a few years ago. #1 on it was "Clone Natas", our senior pit girl. It stayed up on our fridge for the longest time. But if ever faced with the opportunity, I wouldn't do it.

RIP Nat nat old girl, by the way.
