Apparently Chris Rock was on Jay Leno last night and part of the conversation about Michael Vick went like this:

Jay Leno: "It's amazing to me that you mistreat a dog and you lose your career and go to jail for two years."

Chris Rock: "What the hell did Michael Vick do, man? A dog, a pit bull ain't even a real dog. A pit bull, that's the white stuff. Dogs are white mans best friend - dogs have never been good to black people."

Please write to NBC and/or the (horrible) Jay Leno Show and express your outrage that these kinds of comments and minimizing of abuse will not be tolerated. Thank you.

I support homeless animals everyday. Defenseless, abused, neglected animals everyday. So yes I would give to a shelter.

Why not talk about breed standard. I have been around pitbulls for a little over 26 years and dogs I have owned and showed don't look like the ones I see posted and paraded on the Internet. Looking more like English Bulldog than the performance dog that I was introduced to.
