    2008 Surf Dog Competition

    The 3rd Annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition. This event will be held at Imperial Beach CA on Saturday, June 28, 2008 and is open to anyone willing to give the sport a try. Last year 47 dogs were shredding waves during this unique once a year event. The entry fee includes surf lessons for those dogs who may not be an experienced surfer.

    Surf Dogs Calendar will be at Coronado Dog Beach on Sunday June 8th, 15th and the 22nd starting at 10am for a couple of hours. We will have a surfboard so your pooch can practice and we'll be taking photos for the 2009 Surf Dogs Calendar so have your dogs best surf outfit on. Hope you can make it. Bring along your friends to help each other out in the water. If you need directions or have any questions please write us back. Only 3 more weeks to practice before the contest on June 28th.

    LMAOOOOOOOOOOO...that is a great video. The one guy towards the end with the little white dog, that dog was getting into it..LOL

    there was another little dog that got knocked clear off the board from a wave...LOL.....but the dog was loving it!!
