Hi my names rachel I am a stay at home mom with two small boys. My husband works on the railroad. We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a big yard just outside of a small town outside of wichita,ks. We own one 1 yr old blue uncut male pit that is very energetic and friendly and dying to find a playmate. We would love to adopt or foster a pit if anyone knows of one close to our area.

Ive seen on some bull breed rescue websites that there is a way to contact them about volunteering and fostering dogs. You would just have to find one in your area

Rachel did you find a friend for your baby pit yet? My brother has a 4 year old spayed female, sweet as can be, who is in need of fostering for 2 or 3 months; he was in the hospital for 2 months, now in rehab where he will be for 2 or 3 more months, and she is staying alone all day with only a neighbor to let her out a couple of times each day. This dog absolutely loves people, is very healthy, vaccinated and could sure use a friend. Thank you.

She made a post a couple of days after this one saying she found a dog and was having dog-dog issues. I would guess she's still working on getting a routine in place with them.

Thanks for the update; I'll just wait and hope someone else would like a foster child for a couple of months.

Not sure if this is a fit. I have a rescue pit bull that has a great temperament. Grace is about 4 to 5 years olds. Driving from Alva to Wichita is not an issue. She is older and might not be as active as you would like.
