New puppy

So today my brother brought a puppy home from someone he bought it from for my moms mothers day present, long story short he was told the male pup is 8 weeks old, full pit with no papers, and had to be dewormed. the dogs ribs bones stick out he is very skinny, i was just wondering if he looks full pit not like it matters but just curious, he is a tiny little thing weighs 13 lbs. also i bought him wellness and dewormed him so will he put weight on?? my other pittie girl is on orijen but its just so expensive

Without papers, there's no way to tell what he is. He could be anything. I'd just call him a pit mix. Or a bully mix. Or just a dog. ;) good luck with the new dog.

Cute pup! At this age and without papers from a reputable breeder you will have no clue as to what he truly is (my great dane puppy looked NOTHING like a great dane until he was 3 months old).

Definitely get him to a vet to get a fecal done along with getting him started on his puppy vaccines. I'd also suggest you get his nails clipped, too. They're starting to get a bit long! :-)

Without a pedigree, there is no way of knowing. He is super cute, though! :)

I agree with everyone's posts, I wanted to just add, 13 lbs at 8 weeks is huge
