What the best food for pitbull puppy?

KIng is eating pedigree puppy right now. I want to put him on bil-jax when he is about 12 or 13 weeks. What kind of food would you recommend so that i would have a healthy and muscular dog?

  2. Innova for puppies. Do not get the EVO.

I feed Taste of the Wild. I like it because it is grain-free and an all stages food.

Do NOT feed your dog food you can buy at walmart, and other grocery stores, and petsmart. No. Look at the sticky at the top and read what foods are good, dogfoodanaysis.com

Not too much protein, no corn, no grains.

Actually, PetsMart sells Blue Buffalo, which is a good kibble.... granted they may not sell a lot of great kibbles, but BB is a good one. Also, you can get Wellness, Solid Gold and BB at PetCo, and those are excellent kibbles. I feed Taste of the Wild Salmon, because Bella had some skin issues and the TOTW Chicken seems like it wasn't helping, but with the salmon TOTW, it seems to have all cleared up. :)

Here's a great thread as well as the other links you've been given:

It is. Id like to feed something else but i live in a small town and its the best available. Theres a local feed store here but all they sell is exclusive, which from my understanding is made by purina? And of course theres the good ole wal mart supercenter! lol

  20. Puppy Gold
