Like Sako said, you're pushing it. Most cap it at 16 weeks, many won't do later than 12-14 weeks. The longer you wait the less chance of the ears standing. If you like the look of the very short "battle" crops you would probably have no problems.

Not the first time someone's referred to me as one of my dogs ;)
LOL! Sorry. I'm on painkillers, I have an excuse. :p

Depends on how his ears are standing now, and how long you want the crop to be. I'd contact a vet that does a good crop, and see what they say. I know of vets that will do them up to 6 months, or even thru the life of the dog, but they are the exception, not the norm.
I would personally just leave them unless he's got a show career or something, because it's just aesthetic, and at this point, the surgery is going to be more of a deal for the pup. Likely a longer healing time, and more time being posted to stand properly.
I had one of my pups cropped at 16 weeks (dropped him off at the vet the day after we picked him up)and the difference between him and all my others which were done at 9-12 weeks was crazy. The ears took much longer to heal and they didn't quite fit his head or look right until around 8 months. I'd never do it that old again. He had big hound dog ears but there wasn't any issue with them standing, I've never had a problem with that though, my vet is the best :D
