This is another classic in historic pitbull literature. Read about "beautiful" Joe and his journey from a cur (common usage at the time meant an unregistered/not pure bred dog) to a loving home. The autobiography, much like the Bar Sinister (review and free link at
http://www.pitbull-chat.com/reviews/...rding-davis-5/ )is written from the dogs point of view and is all in all a great read. It was written originally published in 1903 and I recommend it for the novice and seasoned owner alike.
