Sid is a 4ish month old pit bull puppy who was rescued just hours before being put to sleep at an overcrowded bay area shelter. He was pulled by Good Newz Pit Puppy Rescue, and is being fostered with me, in Vallejo. Sid is very smart and extremely treat motivated. He is learning very quickly to sit at the door ways and before feeding. He is also brushing up on his manners with other dogs, and plays very well with my 6lb dachshund who can be quite bossy. Sid can be protective over his toys with other dogs (just a growl, NO snapping), but takes correction for this very well and we are working with him on it. He is a very typical puppy and shows no signs of a bad past. He goes up to everyone he meets with glee, for he loves to be petted. He joined us at the little league tournament in Martinez today and was cordial to every adult, child and other dog he met. He sat very patiently in our laps or between our feet for the entire game. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky! Sid has been vaccinated and will be neutered prior to adoption. Please come meet us at Point Isabel at 2pm tomorrow and see if Sid is the guy for you! Be ready for some great puppy kisses, as he will surely love YOU!!
