The Washington Area Humane Society (WAHS) is a no-kill shelter, funded solely by private contributions. Our shelter takes in thousands of animals and investigates an average of 800 abuse complaints each year.

Kramer is a great goofball who is overlooked too often
Kramer Look at that goofy mug. No wonder they named him Kramer — must have reminded someone of that goofy Seinfeld character. This Kramer is a handsome brindle boy who has plenty of pep and confidence. He knows "sit", "lie down" and he does like treats making him a much easier dog to train. Beau is waiting for his forever home in Washington, PA
Bear_pb Siblings and companions including Beau were all rescued by our humane officer in January who was tipped off about this group of breeding dogs who were kept deep in the woods in Charleroi. Beau is one of the last of the bunch. Most of the others have already found their new loving families. And Beau is a real catch ...a diamond that only shines when he is met outside of his cage. omg she is adorable. it's so sad that somebody hit her and kept going. if i didn't still live with my parents, who has 3 dogs on top of my 1 dog, i'd take her in a heartbeat. good luck ♥
