Thanks, Mickey"THE STORY OF LOE"My name is "LOE", I was born January 2009, my human Dad and Mom picked me out of all the other puppies to be their very own. My Dad is in the military and he was given 72 hours to report to a staging area to deploy to Afghanistan. My Mom had to return to her parents to live, so that leaves me homeless and afraid. Since the notice to deploy was so short there was no time for my family to make arrangements for me. I now find myself in the Escambia County Animal Shelter. My Dad cried when he left me because he knew that unless I was taken in by a rescue that I would never make it out of here, you see the shelter does not adopt out Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chows, etc. The shelter manager has taken a shine to me so he has given me a little extra time to see if a rescue will step up and find me a new home where I won't have to worry about being left behind again.

I have just sent 12 emails to the rescues around me telling them i will pay any and all cost for them to house the dog untill it found a home, i would hold the dog untill the dad came back but i have no room in my place... i feel horrible

My name is Amanda Donald. I am totally willing to come pick him up, I live in Birmingham Alabama. I cant stand to see such a beautiful animal put to sleep. Let me know what I need to do, and I will do it.
