This looks So MUCH like my dog, Jiggy, they must be related.........we've had Jiggy for 3 1/2 yrs. now--very challenging years, and now he's finally beginning to act like a mellowed dog. Funny thing: we've always had "easy" dogs--lab mixes, Shelties, any dogs that required little care, just loved being part of the family. Then came Jiggy--we really wanted him to fill an empty space in the "child-side" of the family--we were missing noise, activity, etc.........then came Jiggy.......our good friend, Michael (who lived at our house for 10 yrs.) convinced me that I needed to adopt this dog "on the spot"--he was one of the last 2 of a litter that was being "shown" around our area..........he wasn't that special--seemed to really bind with his brother, so we didn't see anything very special in him (or his brother, whatever happened to him!).......from the moment we took Jiggy home to our house, we were suspicious of him--he looked and acted like a pitbull (the DREADED PITBULLS), and we just didn't know how to deal with him. We took him to various training sessions--he reacted well, very food-motivated, but got himself kicked out of doggie daycare when a dog-handler tried to pull him by his collar--big, traumatic time.......anyway, Jiggy is now a very mellow almost 4-yr-old, we love him more and more, and have becmoe very interested in the history of pitbulls/mixes/whatever these rescue dogs are!!!!!!! I'd love to get stories from anyone who's had similar experiences.........
