Norris
Norris is the biggest pit ABRA has ever rescued, but he is just a big baby! He's a gorgeous blue nose pit bull/great dane mix with white spots. He's about 7-9 months old. He gets along with dogs, but does bark at the cats every once in awhile. He is house trained and he's energetic but well behaved. He is a fence/porch climber so he'll have to go to a special home that understands he cannot be outside unsupervised, even in a fenced in yard. He has a horrible fear of thunderstorms and will try to escape during them. He loves to cuddle and really is a great dog!
Norris is being adopted by a family that found him here! I'm so excited for him and he is a very lucky boy! His new family can't wait to bring him home. It takes months for us to find an appropriate home for a rescued pit that's not a baby. Most of our approved applications want a puppy under 4 months old. We thought we'd have him for at least a year until we could find someone we could trust to respect the fact that he can climb any fence/porch. We couldn't have hoped for a more experienced pit home for him <3
Someone told me mine might be a mix because of her size. I got to wondering about her long legs, so looked up great dane / pit bull mix and found your post. Such a pretty dog. Really reminds me of mine....even the crooked ear...lol...Wonder if mine is mixed with a great dane...
