45 pounds
My name is Nikki, and I am a beautiful Pit Bull around 2 years old. I am a happy, healthy girl who loves to give kisses and play with my dog friends.
I am good with children (they are fun to kiss), but I am too interested in the cats. I am very strong and can pull when on my leash, but I am working on it. I do well when I am wearing my harness. I love to play with little dogs, but I can be bossy with other big dogs, so I either need someone who has lots of doggy experience who can introduce me sloooowly or I need to be the only dog in the home. I’m a very quick learner, a good listener and know my basic commands. I am also house and crate trained, and I would love to sit on your lap and watch TV with you if you say it’s OK. And check out my cute underbite! I am current on all my shots and am spayed. I have been in foster care for almost a year now, and I think it’s time I found that forever home to call my own. Do you have room in your life for me?
Please contact my rescue at kim@fugeesrescue.org for more information and an adoption application. Come one, you know you want to!
Re: Nikki, the Beautiful Chocolate Pit Wants her Forever Home!
I really do hope "Nikki" can find a loving home. I watched a TV programme last night that highlighted the Pit Bull tragedy. Ther are too many PBTs in rescue. The media hype and hysteria coupled with owners who (in truth) don't quite realise the needs of such dogs could be fingered as a common cause for this phenomenon. I am not suggesting that these are the circumsances under which "Nikki" has been put up for adoption but, it's really sad to see these dogs looking forlom and sad. Here's hoping for a happy outcome.

Nikki is awesome! I fostered her for a weekend and if my dogs weren't so dominant and bossy we would have liked to adopt her!
I am so glad someone has started posting the Fugees dogs on here! Kim, who founded & fosters several of the Fugees dogs, does a great job and I'd love to see her find some great homes for the long-timers so she can help more pits that need it!
