Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier: tricolor pit puppi: Petfinder

There are 3 males and 2 females. They won't be ready for new homes for at least a few more weeks.

These pups were born on 1/15/2010 according to the breeder that surrendered them. Both parents died of heartworms and the breeder couldn't handle the crying at night and was overwhelmed by the 9 motherless pups. He surrendered 5 to Atlanta Bully Rescue. Urgent! Foster needed! Carolina Care Bullies
MEET OLIVER – Young adult male, perhaps 2 or 3 years of age, running loose for a long time when owner moved away. His short coat is merle in red and white, reminiscent of ACD (American Cattle Dog) in body and face, with some pit mixed in. He probably weighs 45 lbs or so. Evaluated 2/20/10.

This sweet boy is looking for his forever home!
Rufus-so-cute He was horribly emaciated and had lots of scars (I included a pic of when of when he was first found, he's since gained about 15 lbs). We introduced him to our resident dogs very slowly over a few weeks. He has had no issues and loves playing with them. He happily shares food and loves to cuddle with the other dogs. bella is good house dog ,in/out door,good with kids, territorial and very friendly.i need to find her a home a.s.a.p.....she chewed her way thru door at home and my landlord is demanding me to get rid of her or face eviction as of today..i have called every shelter possible..please help me..i don know what to do anymore. i love her so much and and need your help...two things she does't like is cats and anyone grabbing her, scared of thunder and she'll follow you everywhere if you let her!!!

pit-girl-pup Daisy is our new foster pit pup. She's about 3 months old. She needs to put some weight on, but seems healthy. She was very traumatized but she loves to sit in your lap and cuddle. I have a feeling she'll come out of her shell in no time. She's already improved so much in such a short time. very sweet 1 year old male pit
winston Winston is about a year old, he's neutered, treated for fleas, and has his rabies shot. He gets along great with 5 of our dogs, but doesn't like our little nippy dog (chi/westie). Mickey-Mouth **Update 07/03/2009** Mickey had his surgery on June 24th and is recovering nicely! He goes back on Wednesday, July 8th to have his stitches removed. Once we get a better idea on how well he'll continue healing, we can move forward with his heartworm treatments
