Name: Kensey
Sex: Female
Color: Black Brindle/White
Age: Young (1-2 Years)
Weight: Approx. 45 lbs.

If you are interested in Kensey, please email her foster family at jennieruff@gmail.com

Hey world! I'm Kensey, and my foster mom tells me I'm the best foster dog she's ever had. What am I doing in foster care then, you ask? I have a major case of bad luck - in less than two years of life, I've been sent back to the shelter three times because my family is moving. Add to that one prior foster home, and I'm on family number five. All that moving hasn't affected my sweet personality, although sometimes I get scared that when my foster people go out, they won't come back. I don't make messes, chew things that aren't given to me, or go potty in the house, but sometimes when I'm anxious about my people being gone, I bark a little. I'm getting better, but I really need a permanent home before I'm too attached to my foster mom.

I am:
Fool-proof housebroken
Crate trained
PERFECT on a leash - I walk on a flat collar.

I'm a compact 45 pounder who could stand to loose some more weight, and am a medium energy dog - one good walk per day and I'll sleep on the couch the rest of the time, although I would make an excellent jogging partner. I love to cuddle and kiss, and am a quick learner. When I play I can be a little zealous, and am not a good match for a home with kids under 10. I am also selective about my doggy friends, and don't particularly care for dogs who jump on me or who don't respect my space. I would love to live in a home with a submissive male dog around my own size to play with, but could also be an only dog. Because I'm a typical Terrier, I cannot live with cats - they're too much fun to chase!

I am already spayed, and have all my shots - all covered by my $75 adoption fee. I'm ready to go home with you RIGHT NOW!

If you think you'd like to give me a stable forever home, please email my foster person using the email at the top of the page. She'll get back to you with some questions so we can see if you'll be a perfect match.
