Madilyn was brought into a local shelter with an infection in her shoulder and ear. Her ear infection was so bad they had to place drain tubes in in and she is recovering nicely. Through all her pain, this sweetheart never let it stop her love for people.
Madilyn wants to greet everyone she meets and is convinced the world is there to pet her. She is a smart and very drivey little girl who would love flyball, lure coursing or even someone who jogs. Madilyn is everything an American Pit Bull Terrier should be so please no same-sex dogs in the home.... she would prefer males. She loves children though and lights up the room when she enters it.
Madilyn is a truly special girl, apply and find out why we say that!
This girl is pretty special in our book, submit an application and find out why!
We are excited to say that Madilyn has an adoption application pending - wish our sweet little girl luck that her forever is just around the corner!
*However in the meantime, she has a much more pressing issue - her health. Last Friday, Madilyn was diagnosed with a Grade Four Luxating Patella. For a good explaination of this condition, click here: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+1569&aid=457
Madilyn needs surgery as soon as possible, so she can be all fixed up and ready to go to her happily ever after. We are on a mission to raise the needed $1,500.00 for her surgery. We know this is a lot of money, but its actually a very substantial discount over the regular cost, which has been graciously extended to our rescue. Please remember that every dollar helps get us to our goal. If you can help us to pay for her Vet care, we would be very thankful. We accept paypal on our website (link at the top of this post) If you prefer to donate directly to her Veterinarian or use a donation method other than paypal, please email us at victoria@pnwpbr.org for more information.
I'm trying to get ahold of someone with PNWPBR to make arrangments to adopt Jack. I was emailing back and forth with someone about adoption last week and haven't heard back. Can you help?
