We rescued Lucy from manhattan ACC in Sept from euth list when she was just skin and bones, brought in as a stray and quickly got kennel cough. She's now robustly healthy, done well with her basic training (though still needs reinforcement for not jumping on new people as she SOOO loves to meet new friends), has gained a healthy 18 lbs, been spayed and given lots of TLC in a family setting which includes our four year old daughter. As she leaves puppyhood, it's clear that she does not do well with our rescue cats so needs a good home without their presence. She has an adventurous, up-for-anything personality, loves car rides, water (baths!), and like most pits, needs lots of vigorous exercise. She enjoys playdates with her selected buddies (usually strong males), and tends to be alpha. She LOVES children, as do most pitbulls, and enjoys a good game of fetch. (if anyone interested, i can send you a video clip of her playing fetch at the run.) She is still young and requires a consistent, firm guardian that will help her natural potential blossom. She makes everyone smile with her cute "full prick" bunny ears! (fee includes her airline-approved crate which she is used to sleeping in.)
