Isn't Lexus such a pretty girl?? This little girl was pulled from a terrible situation. She was owned by a backyard breeder who could no longer afford to care for his dogs. He also couldn't afford to humanely euthanize them when he could no longer provide veterinary care, and threatened to shoot all the dogs at midnight if someone didn't come and pick them up. Luckily a PAWS volunteer agreed to take Lexus and the three other dogs (Duke, Kaitlyn and Faith, all listed on our site as well) to get them out of harms way. Lexus is the mother hen of the group and is the dominant one of the group. While Lexus initially tolerated the others, we think the stress of living with 6 other foster brothers and sisters is too much on her and she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. No young children for this girl as she's can be a bit bossy and needs an assertive leader. Lexus would benefit from some obedience training and an assertive leader who knows the breed. She's such a good girl and would really love to find her forever home!
