Manny and Sandy were rescued from a high kill shelter in NYC bu Pibbles&More Animal Rescue, and they now live together in a foster home in Burlington VT. They are gorgeous 3 y.o. dogs, very muscular with beautiful coats. They are both house-trained and crate-trained, altered and utd on shots. They get along with some dogs sometimes, but need to be carefully supervised. That said, they are great dogs who do well with all people, including the 9 year old child in their foster home. They love to play fetch and tug-o-war, and play happily together for long periods of time. They walk well on leashes and are easy to train. We would like to place these dogs together in a home with no other pets and no children under the age of 8. They are very bonded to each other and are content to share a crate without any trouble. We might consider a multi-dog household with just the right owner on a case by case basis. To adopt Manny and Sandy, a home visit, adoption application, and reference check are required, along with an adoption fee of $175 for each dog (tax deductible).
