Meet Trey! Trey is a handsome Dutch Shepherd mix. Trey is coming to us from a shelter in Schuyler country. He had been there for some time and is now thriving in his foster home. We believe that Trey is about 3 years old and he weighs about 66 pounds. He is a total love bug and adores to be with people. Trey is a strong boy and will benefit from a home where he will get plenty of both mental and physical exercise. He rides great in the car and loves to go for walks. He is doing a nice job learning not to pull while on lead. Trey is a great boy and gets along well with other dogs. More to come on Trey as he settles into his foster home!



Update 10/18/2009

Trey is continuing to do really well in our home! He is no longer crated during the day because he does not need to be! Trey loves his humans to pieces, but we feel that Trey will do best in a home with children no younger than 12. Like so many rescue dogs we do not know what they experienced in the past, Trey tends to get nervous around smaller children and again, will do best with older or no children. Trey is also doing well with other dogs, walks wonderfully on a leash and loves to go for car rides!
