Hi! I was just at the Burlington County Animal Shelter today to peruse the dogs a bit. I have been seriously considering fostering dogs, but have not yet made the 100% committment yet. There was this dog named BABY there - she was SO SAD! She has 3 legs, had treatable mange and it looks like she could have an eye infection (not sure). Well, they had her right up there with the other "very adoptable dogs" that usually get put right up in the front - she HAD to be sweet. After looking at all of the dogs and stopping to say hi to a few, I made a point to stop by to see BABY. She was SO SWEET! She greeted me kindly, was very gentle and kissed my fingers in such a sweet way! There was no way that anybody ever stops at her cage - she looks horrible! She needs help. The staff there says that she is wonderful in every way; however, the way she looks, she doesn't even have a fighting chance! Is there anyone (ANYONE) that can help her? If she could just get into a warm home for a little while and get her coat to look nice, she would be the most wonderful dog ever! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I know it's been a while since Baby was posted here but I wanted to let you know that if she still needs help I would be very interested in giving her a permanent, loving, only-dog home.
