Hello,
Prince Charming is an amazing dog. His play drive is awesome. I am a member of a Schutzhund Club near Indianapolis. I also work part time at the Humane Society of Indianapolis doing temperament testing. That is how I came across this guy. He is not for your average pet owner as his drive is really high and he LOVES to play. He needs an owner who will do some kind of sport with him and who will make sure he gets the exercise he needs and the mental stimulation he needs to keep him happy.

I have taken some video of him doing some bite work. One of the helpers from our Schutzhund club came in and worked the dog and said he is a good candidate for Schuthzhund or one of the Ring sports. Also, based on the times I've worked with him and how quickly this dog learns, he would be an excellent dog to work competitive obedience with. This dog is super easy to train.

If you are intersted in learning more about this dog, you can contact me directly at batmanmom@gmail.com. The dog is located in Indianapolis and would be adopted from the Humane Society of Indianapolis.

Thanks. I certainly don't mean to offend anyone. We have American bulldogs in our Schutzhund club. This dog is just so super drivey that he really needs a job like Schutzhund or French Ring. Plus, he has so much raw talent, I hate to see it go to waste.

For anyone reading who might be upset, my GSD is the sweetest dog you would ever meet, but show him a bite sleeve and he ramps up. Then he outs and is super sweet. I have seen no indication in our club dogs that this kind of work makes them mean in anyway.

I don't have anything against Shutzhund, I love it! I do not believe in training for guard work, but Shutzund is a sport my dogs enjoy. When properly trained, Shutzhund dogs are like any other sweet family pet!

as long as he has the temperament for it and LOTS of obedience, I don't see anything wrong with apbt's doing shutzhund...

they don't see it as protection work but more as a game IMO... they are driven by the sleeve and not by the humans

he looks like a great guy! good luck finding him his forever home!
