Info on this girl.. She was confiscated by animal control without her one week old puppies (the people that owned her wouldn't tell animal control where they were, they said that they found the pups homes already..) She was very thin . I think the lack of nutrition has caused her to have some lameness in her hip either that or sleeping on concrete for most of her life.. They were going to put her down and I just couldn't stand for that to happen so I pulled her from animal control.. She is far to sweet.
Temperment:
She is very sweet with adults and children alike.
Dogs she is rather reserved with both my dogs can be a bit hyper which she does not care for. She is ok with them as long as they are not hyper...
She does not like cats.
She is doing wonderfully on housetraining and will let you know when she has to go potty.
Walks very well on a leash.
She wants nothing more than to please .. When you walk her she will look up at you with a look of (I want nothing more than to please you..
She does ok in a crate.. She is right now what I would call a velcro dog.. She had spent most of her life outdoors and that shelter tramatized her .. She is not food aggressive at all. She does still need to gain weight 15 pounds or more..
I have had her spayed,updated on all her shots. I would love it if there was a rescue that could take her or an understanding home that could love her ...
Update
She is starting to really become comfortable with her surroundings and actually initiated play today with one of my dogs (our pup) though when he gets to much for her she will let him know when she has had enough so I think that placement with another dog is a very good possibility.. She seems to come around after awhile and once she is comfortable with her surroundings.
She is doing absolutly wonderful on housetraining, I do not have to crate her she can be left to free roam in the house. She does not tear anything up and just lays on her doggy bed waiting for you to come back. She will let you know that she has to go potty. She has not had one accident in the house since she has been here. This girl absolutly aims to please..She wants nothing more than to make you happy. She is a velcro girl and loves to follow around whoever she is attatched to.
She walks very well on a leash and also does well off leash (of course in a suppervised fenced in yard).
