Name: Bo
Sex: Male
Color: Brindle/White
Age: Young (1-2 Years)
Weight: 40lbs.
Bo was rescued from a shelter the day he was supposed to be PTS. Something about this dirty, quiet puppy with sad eyes tugged in the right place and my husband and I decided to foster him.

Bo is about 12-15 months old and has a very pretty brindle fur with white patches on his legs and chest (and the tip of his tail is white, too). He has adorable ears! We believe that he is a Pittie/Catahoula mix. He is not very bulky, very lean and is building up some muscle slowly. He is neutered, housebroken and crate-trained.

He has a lot of energy and loves going on walks and swimming! He will be fine on the occasional day where he can just run around playing ball in the backyard and loves to "earn" his food by nibbling on a kong. He is not shy in new environments at all and is very agile. He still needs obedience training, sitting still can be hard for him sometimes and he is not always as aware of intruding into his human's space

Bo loves playing with our dogs- he loves to wrestle and play chase. He would do best with a tolerant female companion, I believe. We have two cats and he does just fine with them. One tends to run away when she is aware of him, which entices him to chase after her, but he will stop and come when called and ignored her once he got used to her. I would not recommend leaving him with cats unsupervised, though. All in all, he needs a consequent but soft hand to lead him. His food motivation helps a lot with training... he just sometimes seems to forget his manners when he gets excited.

If you ask Bo, he thinks that people are God's gift to earth. He loves, loves, loves his people. I have seldom seen a dog as people oriented as he is (right now he is sitting in the computer chair with me, his head on my shoulder, snoozing). Nothing makes his day more than being snuggled with. He charms people he meets by sitting when being petted and then melting into their legs, slowly sliding on the ground into perfect belly-rub position. He does love his belly rubs! Everyone loves him and thinks he is the cutest thing!
