Andre's owners were no longer able to keep him. He is now with the Waverly Pet Rescue and in a foster home. He is up-to-date on shots, neutered, and housetrained.
Andre is about 1-1/2-years old. His height is 19 " & he weighs 50lbs. He is a very friendly boy that is full of energy. He needs a home that can help him stay busy and burn off that energy. He loves to play and run! Andre is a beautiful young boy that is housetrained very well. He came from a family that had a young child & the young child overwhelmed Andre. He would be best in a home with older children. Andre wants to be the alpha dog so would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats. Andre will need an owner that will be the pack leader so he knows his place in the household. He is a happy boy & loves to play & run around the backyard. I just think Andre doesn’t know any better about his own strength etc.
10/28/09 UPDATE: Mom let the new foster dog Duke out with me today to see how I would be & the minute I met him, we played & played. I would grab the stuffed animal in the backyard & Duke would chase me all round. We acted like we knew each other for years. I am not dog aggressive, just can play too hard at times & need a certain dog to say it’s ok. When I met Jack, he didn’t like me because of that but likes the other dogs. This is embarrassing but I am a humper at times so I am sure some dogs don’t like that too. All I really want to do is play & show my stuff to mom. Will someone please adopt Andre and give him a forever home? $100.00 adoption fee. (just got his vet bill and it came to $178.23)
