Carolina Care Bullies hopes to move toward decreasing the pit bull euthanasia rate in North Carolina shelters, by: dispelling myths and broadening the understanding of what the pit bull breed is really all about; offering support to owners of bully breeds; caring for deserving pit bulls in the loving homes of generous foster families; and placing pit bulls in responsible permanent homes.

Find pit bull rescue groups and adoptable pit bull dogs in need of a home throughout the United States, Canada and International Countries.

Delilah started life as a stray in Winston-Salem. She was picked up by a Good Samaritan, and soon we agreed to bring her into our rescue. Before we could reach her, Delilah promptly got loose – again! She was found through the website Lassie Come Home (Lassie Come Home--NC), and finally we had her safe in foster care! At one time, someone attempted to care for this petite chocolate-and-white pit bull mix, as she was already spayed when we took her in for her surgery. But this young puppy has not received much training or attention, and it’s too bad, because she is a genius! After just five minutes of working with her, she began to learn sit, down - even shake & roll over! Delilah plays hard with her male playmate in foster care, so she would need a firm opposite-sex dog leader to show her the ropes, or another playful dog that doesn’t mind her! Given her puppy activity level, she is surprisingly great with kids. We love her motivation for all things food, which will carry her far with a forever home that is willing to train her!

i have met her, she is an absolute delight ! i found her easy to walk on leash.. she pulls a little but is so lightweight it was not difficult.. she is friendly and precious and enjoys being a dog !!

I LOVE RESCUE PITS IF I EVER MOVE ON LAND BIG ENOUGH I WOULD OWN A FARM FULL OF P.I.T.S. HAVE A FEW LITTER BUT MOST RESCUE PIT THAN I'LL HAVE PIT POUND 4 REAL!! I KEPT WAIT TO THAT DAY! P.I.T.S. ''ALLDAY'' PITSINTHESTREETZ ''PITPOUND'' THE COMPANY.

She is a great looking dog and I hope she gets a wonderful loving home soon. I only wish I could get one ,but I have two dogs now. But if anything should ever happen to rither of mine I will definitely look for one to adopt.

Aw, what a darling! When I get a bigger house I only won't have show/breeding Pits, I'll have rescues too!
