Hum the things I have been doing lately eh? Killing dogs, moving and getting a $1,000,000 insurance policy are at the top of my list if someone were to ask. Emotional rollercoaster when it comes to admitting defeat, losing your home, and having to move. Realizing what is best for the breed, and the dogs, yet maybe not for your heart... and putting down both Misha and Posh, and Benny soon to come. Back on August 9th, 2007 myself and our Vice President pulled a lovely dog that we named Hera from a local shelter.
Most people would say "Great!, another life saved!" wouldn't they? Well some did, and a lot of people, sadly RESCUES even, didn't.
What was so different about Hera that made her life any less important than another dog?
