Red Bull is what most people call a "heart dog" he is truly my once in a lifetime dog and I honestly don't know how I could ever live without him. . He is a great dog loves to go to work and is most happy when he has a job. He is obsessive about his Ball which I love and will do just about anything I ask of him and does it just because it makes me happy, he is just an amazing dog. He loves to be on the go as much as possible and is almost always in motion when we are outside the house. He has obtained his CGC and TT and works daily as my Service Dog. We have also dabbled in Agility, Weight Pull, and a few other areas and I do hope to get him into other venues in the very near future.

Tyson is our little piece of heaven at only 19 weeks old weighing at 34lbs. I surprised my wife with tyson one day and we had the most loving pup ever since. In his early weeks around 14 weeks he came down with parvo virus and that hit us hard because we love him so much. He got to the vet early enough before the virus got worse. Three days in the hospital and he was giving a new start in life (we really thought the worst for awhile because of the expenses). God had a way for us that we couldnt see but we prayed for his life. We are happy to say that today God has blessed us with a great and wonderful pup and we will do our best to give him the best life he deserves.

Hemi is my 2 year old boy. He is 51 pounds of lean muscle. Hemi is one of the more frisky dogs I have ever owned, but a joy the same. He is not a bulldog for everyone you must have a strong hand and even a stronger personality to own him. The picture shown was taken at my recent show (Peach State AADR) here in Atlanta. Hemi loves to run, fetch, play tug, and he swims all day.

Sadie was found as a stray (At ~ 6 months old) in the city by some friends of mine. I tried for a while to find her home, but eventually put her up for adoption when no one stepped forward to claim her. But she is a lot of dog and that special home never came around; so fast forward a year later and Sadie has become a part of our family.

She is a loud, rude, challenging dog but incredibly smart and athletic. We worked on her recall over an 8 foot fence... Definitely need to get her started in agility in the near future.

Despite all her short-comings, she is a sweet-heart and we are glad she is a part of the family.

Jack had been on the euthanize list for two weeks when I saw his photo on a local rescue message board. He had been picked up by the LAPD with severe mange that kept him in isolation for three months. His time was up. But surely something special had kept this odd-eyed boy alive for three months in an overcrowded city shelter. I planned to foster him, bring him back to health and adopt him out. But when I slipped his collar around his neck, he looked up at me with empty, tired eyes as if to say, "Well?" That was it; I was his, and he was mine. It was a life-changing experience to rehabilitate him from an emaciated pup covered in hamburger-like lesions into the healthy, responsive dog he is today. There have been trials, for sure, but we have both learned along the way. He is an absolute joy, and has made me a dedicated pit bull owner for life.
Ok Zydeco was born in the very early hours of May 29th. I was up all night with her mother. Thera was having a difficult labor. The first pup was stillborn (RIP little boy). And there comes Zy. She weighed less than a pound. Well 36 hours later Thera decided that she did not want anything to do with her. So I took over from there. Bottle feeding every few hours. Zy is my little survivor.

She has a spunky little attitude. She LOVES to steal our shoes and drag them to HER bed! A very confident little pup and a blessing to have!

Yay my baby girl won.
first off i would like to thank all the other people who entered their dogs they are all beautiful. i still cant believe Chevy won.

well heres chevy's story.
for a while my girlfriend and i had been talkin about getting a puppy. we had looked at a few n nothing really caught our eyes and then one day we walked past a pet shop..yes a pet shop:( n Chevy was just laying there all by herself and as soon as she seen us she literally jumped out of her skin for us to play n when we did she jumped into my girlfriends arms n gave her a kiss on the cheek. it was then we could not resist and got her. and the funny thing was when we got her home and read over all the papers i realised that she shares the same birthday as myself :) so i really think it was meant to be that we are together lol
we do not know her bloodlines or anyting like that all we know is she is our puppy and the sweetest thing ever.
since getting Chevy at 12 weeks old we have been through alot together.at around 6months old she began to develop certain unwanted lump on her stomach and needed to be operated on which was a worrysom time n then came the skin allergies which are now all under control. since then she has been the perfect pet a little mischeivious sometimes but i still love her
Chevy is now 19months old and weighs 37ish pounds and doing very well:)

We got Cherry Shake (aka Miss Piggy) around April 2008 from a good friend of ours in Winston Salem, NC. I just knew there was something special about this dog when I saw her picture. She wasn't quite 2 years old yet and still fat as a pig from the winter being on the mountain. We were'nt prepared for the path of destruction this dog done on our water buckets, dog houses, and food pans...LOL! I think we went through 10 or 15 5 gallon buckets in a month with her, and 4 dog houses.

One of the things with getting her was we were going to need to have a parantage DNA test done because a repeat breeding was being done and one of the males off the first breeding got off his runner and bred with the dam. That was'nt a problem for me because...well...just look at her! I was for ceartian we could have went to any ADBA or AADR show and done really well with her.

She got her nickname Miss Piggy, well, because she sounded like a snorting pig when we went walking. She just loved to walk through the woods on our 4-wheeler trails. We didn't do much conditioning to get her to the way she looked in the picture...she done most of that her self.

The day we lost her was one of the worst days ever, and to beat it all we lost my sister's dog Sassy 4 days earlier. I had went to go feed dogs like usual and found our female Cleo running loose and I didn't see Cherry at all. So I started hollaring thinking she got loose. But then I noticed, behind her dog house was her body. That was the hardest thing to see after loosing my sisters dog earlier.

Cherry will always have that special place in our hearts and in our kennel. She still has her chain spot open and if you see our myspace page she is our background. Our little girl Flame is a look alike (the reason we got her).

~RIP~ Cherry Shake

Roxy was a spontaneous Christmas present to ourselves :D She was born October 25, 2008 to a backyard breeder who turned her litter over to a rescue organization when he was having trouble selling them -- and didn't want to pay vet bills, etc. if he wasn't going to make a profit.

Needless to say, we are VERY happy to have ended up with her!! Who could resist those blue eyes and sweet face? :) She is great with our cats and is smart, smart, smart! She just finished her training classes and is excited to show off "her tricks" to anyone who'll watch. All in all, she's a big goofy clown (like most of the pups I've seen on this list!) who loves her people (especially Grammy), peanut butter treats, and naps on the couch.

At 8 months old now, it's nice that she's housebroken and well behaved.... but looking at these old pictures sure makes us wish we could have had a few more "puppy" months!!

Havoc is 17 months old, I got him from a breeder here in Florida. He is my first "papered" dog and is doing very well in weight pull. He is my baby and I love him to death. He will do anything asked of him, even if he doesn't want to. His favorite things are eating and sleeping, or playing with the neighborhood kids. He obtained his canine good citizen award at 9 months old and also earned his UWPCH last month. In the future he will compete in obedience and agility with hopes of becoming a Super dog in UKC.

He is more than half way to his ADBA championship, has his CGC and is working towards his BH title in Schutzhund, as well as starting in some beginning Agility classes. He has dabbled in lure coursing and weight pull in the past, and loves to tug and run and work. His most important role, however, is as my best friend!

Memphis Ruca was born November 23,2007 in Atlanta,GA. We purchased her from a breeder and feel in love with her from the moment we saw her. She is a Camelot/Peterson and has the best personality an owner can ask for. Memphis loves to play with puppies and loves to be around children. She loves going to training classes at Persmart and performing her obidience skills for an audience...(most of the time). She is complete spring pole, flirt pole, and tennis ball fanatic and always enjoys a good tree to climb up. Oh and did I mention she also loves to sleep!! Memphis is spayed so we show her in fun shows only..but she is a complete lady in the ring and does pretty well for herself. She has a goofball personality which shines through in many of her pictures and is a complete joy to own.

Nellie and her brother were the two remaining pups from a litter that a backyard breeder produced. He wasn't having any luck selling these last two pups and was moving out of state, so he asked if I would take them. I agreed as long as he agreed to get his dogs fixed. Nellie's brother was adopted into his forever home last month.

Nellie was the runt of the litter, and so tiny when she came to me at 8 weeks that she literally fit in the palm of my hand. Her brother is 3 times her size. Even though she's tiny, she's got a lot of spunk. She backed a Great Dane into a corner! This pup doesn't back down from anything except for my neighbor's cat.

I am sorely tempted to keep Nellie as my own, but with 6 other dogs I know it's best to place her. I have three really good potential homes lined up for her, so she most likely will be going to her forever home in the next few weeks. __________________

We adopted Molly from the City of Sacramento Shelter in July of 2007 where she was brought in as a stray and estimated to be 7-8 months old when we got her. Her favorite activities are soaking up attention from friends and strangers; chewing on toys and sticks; and running after plastic bags (aka lure coursing). During her down time, she is working towards a title in championship couch warming.

Although we teach Molly as much as we can through training, she always teaches us more. Owning a bully breed has opened our eyes to what responsible dog ownership truly means and the importance of making sure that Molly (despite her unknown background) is a positive representative of the traits and qualities that make the APBT such a great breed.

This is Ja-Bar he came from Blu Print Kennels in California and now he is a Texan. He is my first show pup and he is doing great in the show ring he just turned 7mo old on April 28th. My daughter took a strong interest into showing so I purchased him for her. She is doing the junior sportsmanship with him. I am a double proud mama when I see both of them in the ring..
On April 18th we went to the Denton, TX UKC show and this was his first time to be shown in the regular group. He did outstanding winning 1st place 3 time in "Best of males" and winning 1st place 2 times in "Best of Winners". Taking home his 3 majors needed and 95 points- he was 5 points shy of becoming a Champion.
On April 25th I showed him for the second time this was in Jayess, MS and he won in his class getting his points needed and now he has Champion title at the age of 6months and 24days old.
I am so happy and pleased with this lil man, he is a mess and loves to get into EVERYTHING. He is like a 2yr old that if I hear its quiet in the house I KNOW he is up to something, lol
Jabbar stands for Powerful in Arabic, and when my friend Daline with Volatilis Kennel showed me that name I was like YEP that's the name I will put on my pup. Of course I had to do some changing up on the way I wanted to spell his name, lol "Ja-Bar"
His registered name is CH 'PR BluPrints Walkin W/ Power of Soria

Thank you for those who voted for him....
I also want to thank Daline for this picture- she has that talent for taking AWESOME photos....

Hemi is a 18 month old APBT that I have had since a puppy. He is a joy to own. He is fun, very energtic, and will lick you like crazy. Its funny cause he often gets happy tail cause his tail is out of control. Hemi went to his first sanctioned A.D.B.A show this year he did not place but I was very proud of him. I know he looked good and so did most in the crowd. We will try it again and see what happens. Thanks again for all the love that I he recieved and I hope that all is well with you dogs.... Peace BC:sonn_u11:

One of the rare rainy days here in Southern California I was rushing around doing errands and my last stop was supposed to be at Costco. I didn't even want to go but I figured I'd better just get it over with now. So I pull up in the parking lot, it's raining cats and dogs, and I notice that over behind all the carts was what seemed to be a dog crouching under a bush. A very wet, dirty, stinky, dog that turned out to be a little pittie puppy!!

I walked around the parking lot for a while wondering if he had gotten out of a car, asked the Costco staff in the front, but no one knew anything, so I took him to AC to check for a chip and possibly drop him off. But after talking to the AC officer while this little guy is snuggling in my lap just snoring away I knew I just had to take him home with me. I did try to look for an owner by putting ads in the papers and checking the local petstore flyer walls but nothing!

So now he is officially mine! I named him Angel, even though I'm so not the type to name their pets "Angel", but I had just lost my beloved old cat to heart failure a few weeks earlier and I had actually put a deposit down on a Presa Canario male the previous month but sadly he did not live longer than a few days. Somehow the name just seemed to fit in this case. I was planning on making my next dog after that another pit bull but then I went to Costco one day and the rest is history....

He is almost six months old, I've had him since mid Febuary, and he is such a sweetheart, very smart, and is syrupy sweet. He learns very fast and sometimes has very good doggie manners :p . He loves to play with well behaved familiar dogs as long as they don't try to hump him! He hates that! He loooves my older shep/pit mix and she cracks the whip with him, let me tell you! Angel can be a bit of a brat with some dogs if they let him get away with it but he tows the line with Lila...or else! :D

Thanks for voting for Angel. There were so many adorable and goofy looking dogs!
Here is a picture of him looking a little less like a goofball:

Slick Ric is one of the last dogs produced by Wildside Kennels, and I am truly honored to own this little piece of APBT history. Off of Wildside's Champion Voodoo and Wildside's Amethyst "Amy".

Ed and Donni brought Slick to me at the AADR show in Durham, NC last year, and he actually made his first appearance in the show ring in the junior handlers class.. even though he was underage since its about the kids and not the dogs... he didn't even have a name yet, he was just called "pup pup" by the little girl that showed him.

He was an unexpected addition to our family at least for my wife... I didn't tell her I was coming home with him...and I firmly believe in begging for forgiveness before asking for permission. But she fell in love with him instantly to the point that Slick is now our house dog and spends most of his time chewing toys, napping on the couch and playing with my wife or me.

Slick is by far the smartest "inside" dog I've ever had...Ed came down the day before the show and said that, that night Slick slept in the crate never made a noise other than to cry when he had to use the bathroom..then would go right back to the crate and sleep. Ed said he'd never seen anything like it. He house trained fairly easy..and when he did have an accident it was near a door..and usually my fault.

So far Slick Ric has been all I could ask for in a puppy dog.. he'll be making his official show debut at the AADR show at Durham, in April.. and I hope he does as well there as I think he can!
Woot has lots of goals this year one of which would be getting more tropies and ribbons but getting out there and working the crowd and educating more people.

Ginger came into my life in November 2007 after being rescued from a dog fighting operation and instantly won over the hearts of not only me, but also the hearts of my friends and co-workers. She came to the SPCA where I work so we could provide her with lots of tender loving care and a safe and happy home. I quickly offered to be a “foster mom” where I could give her a loving home until she was ready to be available for adoption into her forever home. After almost a year of fostering, I decided to become that forever home and made it official on 8.1.08 when I formally adopted her.
An extremely fearful dog who had little socialization, her early days in my care were a test in patience and compassion but it was all so very worth it! She has become the happy dog she deserves to be and is now full of tail wagging and kisses. She loves running about the yard, playing with her jolly ball, going for rides in the car, saying hello to anyone who will give her a treat and napping on the bed. She just completed Pit Bull 101 and I am hoping that she will get her Canine Good Citizen certification later this year. She shares the house and fun times with Indy, a search and rescue dog for the sheriff’s department and Smudge, a grouchy cat who also happens to be her secret snuggle buddy.

Buddy Love or "Bud" for short turned out to be too much dog for his previous owners and that is how he ended up in my lap. He is a ball of energy, always on the go; he has no survival instinct and barrels full force into everything he does. Bud's favorite activities include ball, ball and ball. Our goal is to hopefully channel that energy and drive into various dog sports to showcase this breed in a positive light.

Ginger "was" my newest edition to the house until very recently and I have been nothing but pleased with her since day 1. She is a feisty little pup with an attitude of an adult. She is full throttle energy most of the day and I could sit in the yard for hours and just watch her play. Ginger started off her only shows of last season with a bang and we will have her back out in the ring this year again. :)

Lizzy is a high energy dog that is full of life and happiness. She has a never quit attitude and is very affectionate toward people. We will be working on obtaining Lizzy's CH title in the AADR this year to make her a dual CH. She's already an ADBA CH. I wouldn't trade this girl for 10 others. She was a great addition to our household and will always have a special place in my heart. :)

He is a great companion, listens well, and makes me happy to be his owner every single day! :)

He likes to show, loves to pull, is a fan of the ladies and regularly crusades against small furries.
