We have absolutely no experience with pits and to compound matters we have no foster home either for June Bug. She is a sweetie that wants to sit on your lap. She doesn't get along with other dogs or well but I think that from her experience just before we got her. We've gotten two different stories as to what happened. She had some awful rips on her chest.
Unfortunately, Rochester has a part of it's community who advocate dog fighting. We have decided we will not adopt to someone who lives in the city. That may or may not be wise.
We've tried different Pit Bull rescues, but some don't even have the courtesy to write back or call and say they don't have anyone who could take June Bug. Sorry I'm just venting a little frustration. We have her boarded right now, but that isn't good for her. I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. Unfortunately, I was duped by the director and supported their efforts. No more - I've removed all links and references from my web site and other on-line sites. I've asked her to remove my link from her site.

Getting past that though, I'm happy to have found this forum and am thoroughly enamored by the wonderful expressions of pitties. I'm a die-hard Border Collie fan and owner, but I find pitties fascinating and have done a few drawings/paintings of them. I'm always on the lookout for fun reference photos, so if anyone here would care to share, please let me know.
